I really appreciate our talented, dedicated staff. With their help, we are able to take good care of your pets and give you the help and support you need.
Dr. Amanda Veatch joined Fremont Veterinary Clinic in January 2017 bringing experience involving both general practice and emergency work. Her previous position at a local emergency and specialty hospital provided a variety of caseloads with opportunities to treat both very sick and injured pets and also see unusual cases. She’s grateful to have transitioned to general practice to have regular contact with the fantastic clients and patients at Fremont Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Veatch grew up in Missouri and received her degree at the University of Missouri in 2005. She completed a small animal internship at the University of Washington, Pullman in 2006 and has practiced in Portland ever since. She really enjoys surgery and dentistry as well as the challenge of figuring out what is wrong with sick patients and helping them feel better. On her days off, she enjoys biking and hiking the beautiful Pacific Northwest. On rainy days, she prefers sipping a craft beer and taking in some live music or reading a book. She also volunteers at the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon.
